Egyptian Polo Federation Announces International Training and Umpiring Course

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Polo Federation, under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohamed El-Shami, is committed to advancing the technical and skill levels of polo among all players registered with the Federation.

In line with this vision, the Federation has coordinated with international expert Captain Hisham El-Gharbi, an American national accredited by the U.S. Polo Association, to conduct a comprehensive training and Umpiring course in Egypt.

This program will provide both theoretical and practical instruction, covering all technical aspects of the sport for players and their horses. The course held from April 19 to April 25, 2026, at Smouha Club in Alexandria and the polo fields in 6th of October City, Giza Governorate, as part of the Federation’s official activity plan for the 2025/2026 sports season.
